Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 49, 51, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The general effect of the Edgware On-Street Order would be to reduce in length the free bay in Shelley Close along the flank wall of No 24 Purcells Avenue, Edgware in order to enable residents to gain access to the property. The general effect of the Hendon On-Street Order would be as specified below: (a) Amend the hours of operation of the long stay pay and display bays outside The Model Farm House and The Church House in Church End, London NW4, from between 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, Mondays to Saturdays, to between 9am and 5pm, Mondays to Fridays; (b) Amend the hours of operation of the short stay pay and display bays outside The Greyhound Public House and The Meritage Club in Church End, London NW4 from between 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, Mondays to Saturdays, to between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays; The amendments above are as a result of requests received from local traders. (c) Convert the resident bay outside Fenella House Council offices in Babington Road, NW4 to a general permit bay to enable business permit holders to park in the bay as well as other permit holders. (d) Convert the free bay outside Nos 3 and 5 Babington Road, London NW4 to a resident bay to improve parking opportunity for residents. The general effect of the West Hendon On-Street Order would be to reduce in length the resident bay outside Nos 40 and 42 Stuart Avenue, London NW9 due to the recent construction of a vehicular cross-over. The general effect of the East Finchley On-Street Order would be as specified below: (a) Convert the free bays to general Permit bays opposite Nos 1 to 6 Stanley Road, London N2 and outside Nos 15 and 16 Harford Walk, London N2. (b) Provide an additional general permit bay and remove the existing yellow line in front of a redundant Vehicular cross-over outside Nos 32 and 34 Leicester Road, London N2. The general effect of the Church End On-Street Order and the Goods Vehicles Loading Order would be as specified below: (a) Convert the free bays to general permit bays Outside No 39 Dollis Avenue, London N3, and Outside No 25 Hendon Avenue, London N3. (b) Convert two pay and display bays in Station Road, London N3 outside The Electric Sub-Station to a loading bay so that restrictions are placed on waiting by vehicles other than goods carrying vehicles on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 pm. The effect will also be to limit the length of loading to a maximum 1 hour with a prohibition of returning within 2 hours. (c) Reduce in length the general permit bay opposite No 287 Regent’s Park Road N3 by 10 metres introduce “At any time” waiting restrictions in order to improve safety. The general effect of the Golders Green On-Street Order would be to convert the free bays to resident bays in Gresham Gardens along the flank wall of No 64 The Ridgeway, London NW11 and outside No 1a Gresham Gardens, London NW11. The general effect of The Prohibition of Stopping outside Schools Order would be to upgrade the restrictions of the school entrance markings outside Beth Jacob Grammar School in Stratford Road, London NW4 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays, to 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Mondays to Fridays, and 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, Sundays. Copies of the proposed Orders, plans of the relevant areas and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP; and (b) The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection to the Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP, within 21 days of the date of this notice.
