THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (a) and all other enabling powers. In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow and general road safety, the general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to introduce new, and amend various waiting restrictions in the borough, as follows: At any time waiting restrictions would be provided around the junctions of: Dollis Park and Church Crescent, London N3 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday, 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm, waiting restrictions); Nether Street and Eversleigh Road, London N3; Nether Street and Grosvenor Road, London N3; Regents Park Road and Fitzalan Road, London N3; Windermere Avenue and Pavillion Mews, London N3; Friern Park and Glenhurst Road, London N12 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Sunday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, waiting restrictions); Granville Road and Montrose Crescent, London N12; Granville Road and Holdenhurst Avenue, London N12; Hall Street and Derby Avenue, London N12 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, waiting restrictions); Montrose Crescent and Fallowcourt Avenue, London N12; Woodberry Grove and Woodberry Way, London N12; Cecil Road and The Woodlands, London N14; Osidge Lane and The Woodlands, London N14; Oakleigh Road North and Fernwood Crescent, London N20; Brent Street and The Approach, London NW4; Finchley Lane and Tenterden Gardens, London NW4; and First Avenue and Aprey Gardens, London NW4. At any time waiting restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of: High Road, London N2; North Crescent, London N3; Regents Park Road, London N3 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Saturday, 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, waiting restrictions near the junction with Spencer Close); Friern Park, London N12 near the entrance to The Lindens; Rowley Lane, Barnet; Artesian Grove, East Barnet; Lyonsdown Road, New Barnet; Regal Drive, London N11; Southover, London N12; The Woodlands, London N14; Shamrock Way, London N14; High Road, London N20; Oakleigh Avenue, London N20; Oxford Gardens, London N20; and Cool Oak Lane, London NW9 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 11.00 am, waiting restrictions on the north-west side fronting Nos 20 to 32 Cool Oak Lane, London NW9). The Waiting and Loading Order would also provide: Monday to Friday, 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm, waiting restrictions on certain lengths of Gallants Farm Road and Rushdene Avenue, East Barnet; Monday to Saturday, 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, waiting restrictions on High Road, London N20 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 10.00 am waiting restrictions fronting Nos 1138 to 1148 High Road, London N20); Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm, waiting restrictions on certain lengths of Squires Lane, London N3; Monday to Saturday, 8.00 am to 6.30 pm, waiting restrictions on certain lengths of Cowley Place, London NW4; and Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 6.30 pm, waiting restrictions on certain lengths of Rickard Close, London NW4. It is also proposed to remove certain lengths of at any time, and Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 6.30 pm, waiting restrictions on Myddelton Park, London N20 in order to provide an improved parking opportunity for motorists wishing to visit local amenities. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP; and (b) The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG.
