The Council of the London Borough of Newham hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Newham Stopping-up of Highways (East Beckton District Centre, Frobisher Road, London E6) Order 2006” authorising the stopping-up and improvement of highway in the vicinity of Frobisher Road, Tollgate Road and Woolwich Manor Way, Beckton, London E6, together with the re-alignment of Frobisher Road. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Council’s Head of Legal Services, Newham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, London E6 2RP, quoting Ref LE/02/IGF/87816, and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Newham Town Hall and also Beckton Library at The Globe Local Service Centre, 1 Kingsford Way, Beckton, London E6 5JQ. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 12 July 2006, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
