THE SUTTON (ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (SUTTON CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) (NO 3) (AMENDMENT NO 38) ORDER 2006
RELATING TO BRIGHTON ROAD, SUTTON

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the above-mentioned Orders on 10 July 2006 under sections 6, 45, 46, 47 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The principal objective of the Orders is to relocate a disabled persons parking place and a pay and display parking space in order to provide a limited time loading place for goods vehicles only to operate between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive. 3. The general effect of The Sutton (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (No 3) (Amendment No 5) Order 2006 will be to relocate a disabled persons parking place in Brighton Road, Sutton, in the vicinity of No 10 Regent Parade. 4. The general effect of The Sutton (Loading Places) (Limited Time) (No 2) (Amendment No 7) Order 2006 will be to introduce a loading bay for goods vehicles only where loading/unloading is limited to 1 hour with no return within 2 hours to operate between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm Mondays to Saturdays inclusive in Brighton Road, Sutton, in the vicinity of Nos 11-13 and 14-17 Regent Parade. 5. The general effect of The Sutton (On-Street Parking Places) (Sutton Controlled Parking Zone) (No 3) (Amendment No 38) Order 2006 will be to relocate a pay and display parking space outside No 12 Regent Parade, Brighton Road, Sutton, to outside No 22 Regent Parade. 6. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 17 July 2006, the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the location and effect of the Orders may be examined at: Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday; and Environment and Leisure, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, between 9.00 am to 1.00 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm Tuesday and Thursday. 7. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
