HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116 AND TWELFTH SCHEDULE

Notice is hereby given that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them, intend to apply to the Rochdale Middleton and Heywood Magistrates’ Court at The Court House, Town Meadows, Rochdale OL16 1BR, on Wednesday 16 August 2006, at 9.45 am, for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the closure of: 1. Alleyway of varying widths to the side of 28 Bridgefield Street and to the rear of 1-5 Corporation Road, Rochdale from the north-west boundary of 28 Bridgefield Street. 2. Alleyway of varying widths to the rear of 5-9 Corporation Road and 28 and 30 Bridgefield Street, Rochdale from the eastern boundary of 7 Corporation Road to the south-west boundary of 30 Bridgefield Street. The effect of the said Order is shown on the plan which may be inspected, free of charge, at the Borough Solicitor’s Office, the Rochdale Borough Council, Town Hall, Rochdale and the Rochdale Customer Services Centre, Municipal Offices, Smith Street, Rochdale, during normal office hours.
