STOPPING-UP OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH BAYS HILL, NEWTON, PARISH OF HAMFALLOW, STROUD DISTRICT, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Notice is hereby given that an application will be made to the Magistrates sitting at Stroud Magistrates’ Court on 16 August 2006, at 2.00 pm, for an Order to stop up all public highway rights over the area of land described in the Schedule hereto. Any representations or objections about this application can either be put in writing addressed to the Listing Clerk, Gloucester Magistrates’ Court, Barbican Way, Gloucester (the administration centre for Stroud Magistrates’ Court), or any person may attend the above hearing at Stroud Magistrates’ Court on 16 August 2006 at 2.00 pm. A plan illustrating the road the subject of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the offices of Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Gloucester (please quote Ref JPM.38881), Stroud District Council, Council Offices, Ebley, Mill, Stroud, Gloucestershire and at Stroud Town Council, Dyers Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire. A notice will be displayed at either end of the affected highway 28 days before the date on which this application is made to the Magistrates’ Court. Schedule Description of Highway to be Stopped up The public footpath is tarmacked and is approximately 15.5 metres in length with an average width of approximately 1.5 metres. It links publicly maintainable public footpath No 61247 with another District Council footpath which serves Nos 4 to 6 Bays Hill. 12 July 2006.
