NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PROPOSALS FOR A UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
BLAENAU GWENT UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN 1996-2011

On 6 July 2006 Blaenau Gwent Borough Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form the development plan for Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the Council Municipal Offices, Civic Centre, Ebbw Vale between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and at the following locations during normal working hours: Ebbw Vale: Planning Control, Enterprise House, Rassau Industrial Estate Leisure Centre Post Office, Bethcar Street Library, Bethcar Street Tredegar: Business Resource Centre, Tafarnaubach Industrial Estate Tredegar Town Council, Bedwellty House Tredegar Development Trust, Aneurin Bevan House, Castle Street Post Office, Commercial Street Nantybwch Post Office, 61 Ashvale Parc Bryn Bach Leisure Centre, Stable Lane Library, The Circle Abertillery: Sports Centre, Alma Street Post Office, Anvil Court, Church Street Library, Station Hill Blaina: Library, Reading Institute, Abertillery Road Brynmawr: Library, The Institute, Market Square Nantyglo: Nantyglo Post Office, 69 King Street Nantyglo Leisure Centre, Pond Road Brynithel: Brynithel Post Office, Brynithel Terrace Llanhilleth: Llanhilleth Post Office, 7 Commercial Road Library, Workman’s Institute Cwm: Library, Institute, Canning Street The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 13 July 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
