NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
SEFTON METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN, NOTICE OF ADOPTION

On 29 June 2006, Sefton Council adopted this plan. The adopted plan will form part of the development plan for the area of Sefton. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted plan are available for inspection at the Bootle and Southport planning offices (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) and at the Bootle, Southport, Maghull, Crosby and Formby libraries (normal library opening times). The adopted plan may also be viewed on the Council’s website at www.sefton.gov.uk/page&5861 The plan came into operation on 29 June 2006. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part Il of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 6 July 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
