FOURTH AVENUE

1. Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: (a) create a 5.5 metre “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking place on the south-east side of Fourth Avenue immediately south of its junction with Droop Street; (b) create a 10 metre residents’ parking place on the south-east side of Fourth Avenue approximately 11 metres south of its junction with Droop Street; (c) introduce double yellow lines throughout the section of Fourth Avenue that lies south of Droop Street, except where parking places are proposed as described in items (a) and (b) above; (d) designate the section of Fourth Avenue that lies south of Droop Street as a Restricted Street. 3. The proposed Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s agents, West One, telephone (020) 7798 1975. 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, quoting Ref 5187/PBEJ, by 28 July 2006.
