DETERMINATION BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT UNDER SECTION 105A (1) OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has determined that his proposal for the National Road Telecommunication Service Scheme to improve the telecommunications (cable and transmission buildings) along the M3 (junctions 2 to 9), which is a relevant project within the meaning of section 105A(l) of the Highways Act 1980, is not subject to environmental impact assessment in accordance with Part V A of the Highways Act 1980 implementing Directive 85/337/EEC as amended by Directive 97/11/EC. Any comments about this notice should be sent to Highways Agency, Major Projects Directorate, 2/04K, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Bristol BSI 6HA, as soon as possible, and not later than 6 weeks from the date of this notice.
