NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PROPOSALS FOR A UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
On 22 June 2006, Monmouthshire County Council adopted these plan proposals. The adopted
proposals will form the development plan for Monmouthshire County Council. The development
plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at:
Monmouthshire County Council, Planning Services, County Hall, Cwmbran (9.00 am to
5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am to 4.30 pm on Friday);
Monmouthshire County Council Libraries in Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow, Gilwern,
Monmouth and Usk during normal office hours; and
Monmouthshire County Council One-Stop-Shops in Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow and
Monmouth during normal opening hours.
The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals
who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the
powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any
requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with
in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 22 June 2006,
make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
