THE KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA (WIDTH RESTRICTION) (ALBERT BRIDGE) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
ALBERT BRIDGE—WIDTH RESTRICTION

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea proposes to make the Kensington and Chelsea (Width Restriction) (Albert Bridge) Traffic Order 2006 under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to impose a 2.1 metre (7 feet) width restriction on southbound vehicles proceeding onto Albert Bridge from either Chelsea Embankment or Oakley Street. Wandsworth Borough Council will be proposing a similar Order imposing a similar restriction on northbound vehicles proceeding onto the bridge from Albert Bridge Road. 3. Copies of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected at the Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. 4. Persons desiring to object to the proposal, or make any other representations in respect of it, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council’s agents in this matter, the Project Centre, Saffron Court, 14 b St Cross Street, London EC1N 8XA, quoting Ref PCL/TMO/RDH/3221820122 by 19 May 2006. 5. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write in response to this notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
