INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Palmer (UK) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the polymerising of an unsaturated hydrocarbon. The installation is located at Brenda Road, in the borough of Hartlepool, in the county of Cleveland TS25 2BS. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Hartlepool Polymers installation is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, IPPC Public Register, Coverdale House, Amy Johnson Way, Clifton Moor, York YO30 4UZ; and IPPC Public Register, Hartlepool Borough Council, Public Protection Dept., Civic Centre, Hartlepool TS24 8AY. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the cost of copying.
