NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A LOCAL PLAN
SOUTH SOMERSET LOCAL PLAN

On 27 April 2006, South Somerset District Council adopted this plan with modifications. The adopted plan will form part of the development plan for the area of South Somerset. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.

between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.15 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9.00 am and 4.45 pm on Fridays. The documents are also available for inspection at the Council’s Community Offices during normal opening times and can be viewed on the Council’s website www.southsomerset.gov.uk.
The plan came into operation on its adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirements of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 27 April 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
