THE BROMLEY (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO 2) (WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2006
(PLAISTOW LANE, BROMLEY)

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley hereinafter called “the Council” on 20 April 2006, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and Part I of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985 and all other powers enabling, which will come into operation on 2 May 2006. The effect of the Order will be to continue indefinitely a weight restriction of 13 tonnes in Plaistow Lane, between its junction with Plaistow Grove and the western boundary of No 1 Garden Road. The notice of making the above Order in experimental form published in the Kentish Times and The London Gazette contained a statement that the Council would be considering in due course whether the provisions of the experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely. The Council has carefully considered and has decided that it should be so continued. A copy of the Order and the experimental Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley. Any persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
