Notice is hereby given that a local Inquiry in Public is to be held into a proposal by the Secretary of State for Transport to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act. If made the Order would allow the stopping-up of a length of Mill Royd Street, two lengths of Briggate, Croft Street, part of Daisy Street and part of Bridge Road, Brighouse, West Yorkshire in order for development to take place in accordance with outline planning permission applied for to Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council under application number 99/00/01055 and granted by the Secretary of State on 14 November 2002. The Secretary of State has appointed Mr S Amos MA MRTPI MCD to conduct the Inquiry which will commence at 10.00 am on Tuesday 16 May 2006 at The Salvation Army, Brighouse Corps, 33 King Street, Brighouse, West Yorkshire HD6 1NX. The Inquiry will be held conjointly with an Inquiry into the Borough Council of Calderdale (Mill Royd Street, Briggate, Bridge Road, Brighouse) Compulsory Purchase Order 2005.
