THE BARNET (CHIPPING BARNET) (ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (NO 1) (AMENDMENT NO 9) (NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 27th April 2006 the above orders under sections 6, 45, 49, 51,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow and general road safety, the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order introduces new At Any Time waiting restrictions into certain lengths of Longland Drive, Oak Tree Drive, Great Bushey Drive, Hill Crescent, Colney Hatch Lane and Regal Drive. The Order also introduces certain lengths of new waiting restrictions which operate Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm in Longland Drive and Monday to Friday 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm in Tillingham Way. The Order also amends the waiting restrictions in Netherlands Road by extending the length of the existing waiting restrictions, which operate Monday to Friday 7.00 am to7.00 pm, and amends the waiting restrictions on the north side of Colney Hatch Lane at its junctions with Firs Avenue and Poplar Grove, which operate Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm, by removing them and replacing them with At Any Time waiting restrictions.
The general effect of the Chipping Barnet On-Street Parking Places Order will be to introduce two new Resident Permit bays operational Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm outside Nos 47 to 51 Salisbury Road and outside No 53 Salisbury Road.
Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on Friday 28 April 2006, plans of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays and Public Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:

(a) Parking Design, London Borough of Barnet, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1NP;
(b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
