INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Evotec (UK) Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the production of pharmaceuticals using chemical processes under Schedule 1, section 4.5, part A, of the IPPC Regulations. The installation is located at 150 Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 4SD, in the district of the Vale of White Horse, in the county of Oxfordshire. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate Evotec 150 is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, EA Public Register, Red Kite House, Howbery Park, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8BD, and IPPC Public Register, Alec Natton, Environmental Health Officer, Vale of White Horse District Council, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 3JE. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. The Environment Agency Office, Bedford SPG, Howard House, 40-64 St John Street, Bedford MK42 0DL. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
