The London Borough of Croydon acting in its capacity as a Local Highway Authority, hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of part of Penge Road, South Norwood, London SE25 adjacent to the former Goat Public House. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Turnhold Estates Limited on 23 December 2005 under Ref 05/04077/P. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the London Borough of Croydon Planning and Transportation Department, Urban Regeneration Division, Highway Records Section, Taberner House, 18th Floor South Side, Park Lane, Croydon CR9 1JT (quoting Ref HS 1051/2006) and may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at South Norwood Public Library, Lawrence Road, South Norwood, London SE25 5AA (please note that the library is closed on a Thursday and Sunday). Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 26 April 2006 in writing to the London Borough of Croydon, quoting the above reference, addressed to the London Borough of Croydon, Planning and Transportation Department, Urban Regeneration Division, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon CR9 1JT or e-mail barry.crossby@croydon.gov.uk.
