BBL Company VOF hereby gives notice on behalf of itself and its co-holders Gasunie BBL B.V., E.ON Ruhrgas BBL B.V. and Fluxys BBL B.V., in accordance with the provisions of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Petroleum Act 1998, that it has made an application to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry for the grant of an authorisation for the construction and use of a pipeline section between a location about 3 miles from the coast at Bacton (UK) (KP226.5, the start of the landfall section) and a location just west of the Hearty Knoll (KP186). This section will form part of the Balgzand to Bacton pipeline system (BBL) which will be constructed and operated between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. A separate public notice for the landfall section was published early in 2006. Also, a separate public notice for the remaining section between Hearty Knoll and the UK/NL median line will be published in the near future. A map delineating the route of the proposed pipeline and providing certain further information may be inspected, free of charge, at the places listed in the Schedule to this notice from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on each weekday from the date that this notice is published until the date mentioned in the next paragraph of this notice.
