PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Energy Power Resources has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the burning of any fuel manufactured from, or comprising, any other waste in an appliance with a rated thermal input of 3 megawatts or more but less than 50 megawatts. The installation is located at Eye Power Station, Oaksmere Business Park, Eye, Suffolk IP23 7DH, in the borough of Mid Suffolk district. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Eye Power Station is held in registers at the following locations: Environment Agency Office, Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough PE2 5ZR; and Mid Suffolk District Council, Council Offices, 131 High Street, Needham Market, Ipswich, Suffolk IP6 8DL. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
