INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that AES Indian Queens Power Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the combustion of kerosene/gas oil and natural gas for the purpose of electricity generation. The installation is located at AES Indian Queens Power Ltd, Gaverigan, St Dennis, St Austell, Cornwall PL26 8BY, in the borough/district of Restormel in the county of Cornwall. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate AES Indian Queens Power Ltd is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB; and Restormel Borough Council, Council Offices, Penwinnick Road, St Austell, Cornwall PL25 5DR. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, Members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice: The Environment Agency, Aust SPG, c/o Motion Media Technology Centre, Severn Bridge, Aust, Bristol BS35 4BL. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
