NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Brixham Harbour Master for consent to discharge 80 cubic metres per day of trade effluent from the drainage of shellfish holding tanks to Brixham Harbour (Oxen Cove) at National Grid Ref SX 9244 5664, from Oxen Cove, Brixham Harbour, adjacent New Fish Quay, Brixham, Devon. This application is for the discharge of trade effluent from the drainage of shellfish holding tanks at the proposed Oxen Cove Development in Brixham. The discharge is to be made to Brixham Harbour. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to J F Ponting, Regulatory Officer (Water Quality), The Environment Agency, Exminster House, Miller Way, Exminster, Exeter EX6 8AS, not later than 2 June 2006, quoting Ref 203721. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties unless specifically requested otherwise. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency address above between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
