BURNLEY LOCAL PLAN—SECOND REVIEW

On 4 April 2006, Burnley Borough Council adopted these proposals. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for the area of Burnley Borough Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at: Planning and Environment Services, Parker Lane Offices, Burnley BB11 2DT, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Wednesday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Contact Burnley, 9 Parker Lane, Burnley BB11 2BY, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Wednesday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Burnley Central Library, Grimshaw Street, Burnley BB11 2BD, on Monday and Thursday 9.30 am to 7.00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm and Saturday 9.30 am to 1.00 pm. Padiham Library, Town Hall, Padiham BB12 8BS, on Monday and Thursday 9.30 am to 7.00 pm, Wednesday and Friday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm and Saturday 9.30 am to 1.00 pm. The adopted proposals are also available to view on the Council’s website at www.burnley.gov.uk The proposals came into operation on their adoption. Any person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 21 April 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
