1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) on 20 April 2006, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be, in: (a) Abingdon Villas—to convert 3 Pay and Display parking places to Residents’ parking; (b) Adam and Eve Mews—to introduce a new length (5 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (c) Alexander Square/Brompton Road—to introduce 2 new lengths 8 metres and 15 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (d) Aubrey Walk—to introduce 2 new lengths (4 metres and 7 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (e) Bedford Gardens—to convert 2 Pay and Display parking places to Residents’ parking; (f) Cadogan Gardens—to convert a Pay and Display parking place to a “Blue Badge” Disabled Persons’ parking place; (g) Cavaye Place—to introduce a new length (9 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (h) Cornwall Gardens—to convert 3 Pay and Display parking places to Residents’ parking; (i) Courtfield Gardens—to convert 5 Pay and Display parking places to Residents’ parking; (j) Exhibition Road—to convert a Residents’ parking place to a Doctor’s parking place; (k) Hans Place—to introduce a new length (67 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (l) Launceston Place—to convert a Pay and Display parking place to Residents’ parking; (m) Napier Place—to introduce a new length (30 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (n) Paultons Square/Paultons Street—to introduce a new length (6 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (o) Philbeach Gardens—to convert a length of waiting restrictions to Residents’ parking; (p) Pond Place—to introduce a new length (7 metres) of “At any time” waiting restrictions; (q) Powls Terrace—to convert a Motorcycle parking area to Residents’ parking, and convert a Pay and Display parking place to Motorcycle parking; (r) Queensdale Crescent—to convert a length of undesignated parking to Residents’ parking; (s) Slaidburn Street—to convert a length of waiting restrictions to Residents’ parking; (t) Telford Road—to convert a Motorcycle parking area to Residents’ parking, and convert a Pay and Display parking place to Motorcycle parking; (u) Waynflete Square—to convert a Residents’ parking place to a “Blue Badge” Disabled Persons’ parking place; (v) Wilbraham Place—to convert 5 Pay and Display parking places to Residents’ parking. 3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 24 April 2006, and of all other relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date the Orders were made at: The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX. 4. Any persons desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
