STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAY FOOTWAY ADJACENT TO COLSTON HALL, TRENCHARD STREET IN THE CITY OF BRISTOL

Take notice that the Bristol City Council intend to apply to Bristol Magistrates Court under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 for the stopping-up of a section of highway described in the Schedule to this notice on the ground that it is unnecessary. The application is to be heard on Friday 12 May 2006, at or after 10.00 am, in the Bristol Magistrates Court, Nelson Street, Bristol BS99 7BJ. The effect of the Order sought will be to stop up the land as highway for the purpose of all traffic. The section of highway in question is shown for the purposes of identification only edged and hatched black on the map which may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Bristol City Council, the Council House, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TR.
