THE BARNET (SOLO MOTORCYCLE PARKING PLACES) (NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 13 April 2006 the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. As part of a local safety scheme on The Broadway, Mill Hill designed to improve safety and traffic conditions in the road, the general effect of the Orders will be to introduce the following measures: (a) additional short stay pay and display parking spaces will be introduced on the north-west side in the vicinity of Nos 107 to 111 The Broadway, London NW7 (b) a new short stay pay and display parking place will be introduced on the south-east side outside Nos 86 to 90 The Broadway, London NW7 (c) a new solo motorcycle parking place will be introduced outside No 97 The Broadway, London NW7. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on Tuesday 18 April 2006, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP; and (b) The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
