ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A3205 LOCAL ROAD (WANDSWORTH) RED ROUTE TRAFFIC ORDER 1999 VARIATION ORDER 2006

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that on 7 April 2006 it made the above-named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The A3205 Local Road (Wandsworth) Red Route Traffic Order 1999 Experimental Variation Order 2005 (“the Experimental Order”) was made under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and came into force on 15 June 2005. 3. Transport for London has carefully considered whether or not the provisions of the Experimental Order should be continued indefinitely and has decided that they should be so continued. 4. Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on Local Authorities’ by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and in accordance with Regulation 23 of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, Transport for London has made the A3205 Local Road (Wandsworth) Red Route Traffic Order 1999 Variation Order 2006 (“the permanent Order”). That Order will come into force on 19 April 2006, and the effect of that Order will be to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the experimental Order. 5. The Road affected by the permanent Order is the A3205 Battersea Park Road in the London Borough of Wandsworth. 6. A copy of the permanent Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and a copy of the Experimental Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of; Transport for London, Traffic Orders Team, Road Network Development, Faith Lawson House, 15-17 Dacre Street, London SW1H 0DJ; and Wandsworth Borough Council, Technical Services Department, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU. 7. Any person wishing to question the validity of the permanent Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which that Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
