The London Borough of Hackney in exercise of the powers conferred by section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990(a) hereby give notice that the following Order has been made and entitled “The Hackney (Stopping-Up of Highways) (No 2) Order 2005 authorising the stopping-up of lengths of highway on the south side of Nile Street between the junctions with Britannia Walk and Westland place, on the south side of Nile Street at the junction with Westland Place and on the east side of Westland Place at the junction with Nile Street. The stopping-up is authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted on 18 May 2004 under Ref 2004/0655. Copies of the Order, and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in the reception area of Directorate of Environment, London Borough of Hackney, Dorothy Hodgkin House, Reading Lane, London E8 1HJ. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of April 2006, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
