PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Cytec Industries (UK) Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the production of organic chemicals (polymers) as described in section 4.1 Part A(1) a(viii) of Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Regulations. The installation is located at Bowling Park Drive, Bradford BD4 7TT, in the district of Bradford in the county of West Yorkshire. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application is held in registers at the following locations:

IPPC Public Register, The Environment Agency, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG; and
IPPC Public Register, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Shipley Town Hall, Environmental Services, Kirkgate, Shipley, West Yorkshire BD18 3EJ.

Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.
Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice:

Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
