1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Parking Places Amendment Orders would be: (a) to transfer the designation of the parking places in Linden Gardens from the Central Chiswick Parking Scheme into the Mid Chiswick Parking Scheme; (b) to apply the hours of operation of the Mid Chiswick Parking Scheme, 9.00 am to 7.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays, to the parking places in Linden Gardens; (c) to retain the ability of residents of Linden Gardens to purchase residents/business permits for both parking schemes. 3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order would be to further amend the Hounslow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977, so that the hours of operation of the existing waiting restrictions in Linden Gardens would be increased from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 9.30 am to 12.30 pm on Saturdays, to operate between 9.00 am and 7.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays. 4. A copy of the proposed Orders, together with a copy of the Orders of 1977, 1999 and 2000, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at the Forms and Documents Counter of the Access Hounslow Main Reception Area at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Street Management and Public Protection Department, telephone 020 8583 4870. 6. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Street Management and Public Protection, The Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 4DN, quoting Ref TP/DN/1090, by Friday 28 April 2006 at the latest.
