THE BROMLEY (LOADING BAYS) (TIME RESTRICTED) ORDER 1996 (AMENDMENT NO 15) ORDER 2006

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley, on 30 March 2006, made the above-mentioned Order, under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the Road Traffic Act 1991, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 10 April 2006. The effect of the order would be to: (a) introduce waiting and loading restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice; (b) introduce a loading bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice. A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Order. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule Waiting and Loading Restrictions No Waiting At Any Time: Crofton Avenue, Orpington: (a) the south-east side, from its junction with the southern kerbline of Crofton Road south-westwards to a point 10 metres south-west of the southern kerbline of the service road fronting Nos 153-171 Crofton Road; (b) the north-west side, from its junction with the southern kerbline of Crofton Road south-westwards to a point 1 metre south-west of the northern boundary of No 2. Crofton Road, Orpington: (a) the south-east side, from a point 3 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos 259 and 259 a north-eastwards to a point 2.5 metres north-east of the north-eastern flank wall of No 251; (b) the north side, from a point 21 metres west of the western kerbline of Ormonde Avenue eastwards to a point 19 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Ormonde Avenue; (c) the north-west side, from a point 19 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of Poplar Avenue north-eastwards to a point 19 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Poplar Avenue; (d) the service road fronting Nos 153-171 Crofton Road: (i) the north side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Crofton Avenue eastwards for a distance of 12 metres, (ii) the south side, from the south eastern kerbline of Crofton Avenue eastwards for a distance of 18 metres. Henson Close, Orpington, both sides, from the south-eastern kerbline of Crofton Road south-eastwards for a distance of 12 metres. Ormonde Avenue, Orpington, both sides, from the northern kerbline of Crofton Road northwards for a distance of 25 metres. Poplar Avenue, Orpington, both sides, from the north-western kerbline of Crofton Road north-westwards for a distance of 31 metres. Loading Bay Loading Bay—7.00 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive. 1 hour maximum waiting time. No return within 2 hours—Goods Vehicles Only: Crofton Road, Orpington, the north side, from a point 3.5 metres west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 21 and 23 eastwards for a distance of 25 metres.
