THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO ) ORDER 2006
(CUDHAM ROAD, DOWNE)
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes
to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule
9 of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1
of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985, sections 63-87 inclusive and Schedules
6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions as specified in
the Schedule to this notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained
in the original Order of 2003.
A copy of the proposed order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement
of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours
on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent,
BR1 3UH.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing
of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Leisure
Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref ADE(TP)/RP/T100/469
not later than 27 March 2006.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions
of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in
response to this notice may be open to public inspection.

Waiting and Loading Restrictions
No Waiting At Any Time:
Cudham Road, Downe, the north east side, from the south-eastern kerbline of High Elms Road south-eastwards
for a distance of 23 metres.
High Elms Road, Downe, both sides, from the north-eastern kerbline of High Street/Cudham Road north-eastwards
for a distance of 10 metres.
High Street, Downe:
(a) the north-east side, from the north-western kerbline of High Elms Road north
westwards to a point 5 metres south-east of a point opposite the north-western flank
wall of the George and Dragon public house;
(b) the south-west side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Luxted Road south-eastwards
to the common boundary of No 22 and Downe Village Hall.
Luxted Road, Downe, the south-east side, from the north-eastern boundary of Nos 1-4 Forgecroft
north-eastwards to the south-western kerbline of High Street, Downe.
