THE WANDSWORTH (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (REVOCATION NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
AMENDMENTS TO PARKING PLACES AND REMOVAL OF SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS IN THE AREA AROUND RAVENSTONE SCHOOL, LONDON SW12 AND LONDON SW17

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 4 April 2006 made the above Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to: (i) remove part of the parking place on the north side of Elmfield Road at its junction with Cloudesdale Road to provide for a speed table at the junction; (ii) extend the parking place on the north side of Elmfield Road to the west of the school entrance; (iii) reduce the length of the parking place on both sides of Ravenstone Street to allow for an entry treatment at the junction with Oakmead Road; and (iv) revoke the School Keep Clear markings in Elmfield Road and Ravenstone Street and widen the footways outside the school entrances. 3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 10 April 2006, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU. 4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Engineering and Design Services, Department of Technical Services at the address given below telephone (020) 8871 8067. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
