THE BOROUGH OF BOSTON (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES AND CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) AMENDMENT ORDER 2006

Notice is hereby given that Boston Borough Council (hereinafter called “the Council”) proposes to make an Order under sections 35(1) and 46(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, to vary the existing Borough of Boston (Off-Street Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2002, after consulting Lincolnshire County Council, the Chief Officer of Police, the Road Haulage Association, the Freight Transport Association and other organisations representing persons likely to be affected by this Order. The effect of this will be: (a) to reduce the car parking charges in specified car parks to include Sundays from 1 May 2006; (b) to add Blue Street to the Permit Holders only areas from 1 May 2006; as set out in the Schedule below.

A copy of the draft Order is available for public inspection at Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, between 8.45 am and 5.15 pm Monday to Thursday and between 8.45 am and 4.45 pm on Fridays. Any person wishing to make comment or object to the Order must do so in writing, specifying the grounds in the case of objection, to the undersigned no later than 27 April 2006.
