THE CROYDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (NO 3) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006

1. Notice is hereby given that Croydon Council, on 3 April 2006, made the above-mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No 3) Traffic Order 2006 would be to: (a) revoke the disabled parking places located outside No 193 Albert Road, South Norwood, outside No 37 Ashley Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 132 Bingham Road, Addiscombe, outside No 34 Blenheim Park Road, South Croydon, outside No 76 Border Gardens, Shirley, outside No 98 Canterbury Road, Croydon, outside No 21 Coniston Road, Addiscombe, outside No 33 Langdale Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 33 Rosecourt Road, Croydon and outside No 50 Tylecroft Road, Norbury; (b) designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit outside No 275 Albert Road, South Norwood, outside No 49 Alton Road, Croydon, outside No 11 Anthony Road, Woodside Green, outside No 131 Beckford Road, Addiscombe, outside No 16 Cator Close, New Addington, outside No 69 The Crescent, Croydon, outside No 4 Donald Road, West Croydon, outside Nos 29 and 31 Foxley Gardens, Purley, outside Nos 69-75 Gillett Road, Thornton Heath (converting a ‘pay and display’ bay), outside No 115 Gonville Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 91 Grange Road, South Croydon, outside Nos 68 and 70 Headcorn Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 44 Lyndhurst Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 23 Malvern Road, Thornton Heath, outside Nos 2 and 3 Meadow Stile, Croydon, outside No 26 Onslow Road, Croydon, outside No 65 Penshurst Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 6 Stratford Road, Thornton Heath, outside No 5 Tisbury Road, Norbury. 3. A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 10 April 2006 and of all associated Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, “One Stop” Facility, Ground Floor, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey. 4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Parking Services, Environmental, Cultural and Sports Services Department, 1 Floor, Davis House, Robert Street, Croydon CR0 1QQ. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
