APPROPRIATION OF LAND UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 122(2A)

FORMER WHITE HART LANE RECREATION GROUND, WHITE HART LANE, LONDON N17

Notice is hereby given that Haringey Council intends to appropriate for educational purposes the area of land to the north of White Hart Lane. The site comprises approximately 440 square metres of metropolitan open land which will be incorporated into the adjoining Children’s Centre which will be redeveloped to extend the nursery. This will provide a secure boundary and secluded external area for the children. The strip of land will not be built upon and mature trees and grass will remain. In return the community will have access to the nursery’s own external play area through the park with controlled access by The Children’s Centre at scheduled times. Objections to the intended appropriation must be made in writing and addressed to Lilian Nyaga, Project Manager, Property and Contracts, 3rd Floor, 48 Station Road, Wood Green N22 7TY, by no later than 14 days from the date of this advertisement, www.haringey.gov.uk
