TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (CONTROL OF ADVERTISEMENTS) REGULATIONS 1992

Direction granted under Regulation 7 prohibiting advertisements under Class 3A of Schedule 3 (Estate Agent Boards), in the areas specified below. On 24 February 2006, the Secretary of State informed the London Borough of Camden that its application for a renewal of the Direction prohibiting the display of advertisements specified in Class 3A of Schedule 3, Part 1 of the Regulations in the following areas was successful and for an indefinite period: 1. Hampstead Conservation Area. 2. South Hill Park Conservation Area. 3. Swiss Cottage Conservation Area. The effect of the Direction is that the display of advertisements relating to the sale or letting of premises or land in these areas cannot be undertaken unless express consent has first been obtained from the Council. This Direction takes effect 14 days from the date of the publication of this notice. A copy of the Direction and a copy of the maps defining the areas to which the Direction relates may be inspected, without payment, at the Planning and Environment Department, Camden Town Hall Extension, Argyle Street, London WC1H 8EQ, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
