NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE ISLES OF SCILLY REPLACEMENT LOCAL PLAN-A 2020 VISION

On 11 November 2005, the Councl of the Isles of Scilly adopted this Local Plan. The adopted Local Plan will form the development plan for the area of the Isles of Scilly. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the adopted plan proposals are available at the Planning and Development Department in the Old Wesleyan Chapel, Garrison Lane, St Marys and can be viewed on the Council’s website at www.scilly.gov.uk
The Plan came into operation on 11 November 2005. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by Part 2 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals may, within 6 weeks from 24 November 2005, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
