Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The general efect of these Orders would be to propose the introduction of a new loading place in the service road fronting the Library on Friern Barnet Road, London N10, and make general amendments to various parking places in the Chipping Barnet, Church End, Mill Hill and West Hendon Controlled Parking Zones as set out below: (1) The free parking place outside Nos 18 and 20 Normandy Avenue, Barnet would be converted to a residents’ parking place to meet resident demand. (2) The resident parking place opposite Nos 32 and 34 East End Road, London N3 would be reduced in length in order to improve sight lines for vehicles exiting the sports ground. (3) The resident parking place outside No 48 Flower Lane, Mill Hill would be removed in order to improve sight lines for vehicles exiting Courtgate Close. (4) The Pay and Display parking place in the service road fronting Nos 129 to 137 The Broadway, Mill Hill would be converted to allow residents to also park in this parking place in order to meet resident demand. (5) The resident parking place outside No 4 Ramsey Close, West Hendon would be extended to meet resident demand. (6) The free parking place opposite the side of No 1 Ramsey Close, West Hendon would be converted to a resident parking place to meet resident demand. (7) It is also proposed to remove the residents’ parking place outside No 29 Pattison Road, Cricklewood in order to improve sight lines for vehicles exiting the driveway of No 29 Pattison Road. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection to the Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP, within 21 days of the date of this notice.
