PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Cherokee (Cranleigh Remediation) Limited have applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the disposal of hazardous and non hazardous waste water in a water treatment facility with a capacity of more than 50 tonnes per day. The installation is located at Cranleigh Brick and Tile Site Water Treatment Plant, Cranleigh Brick and Tile Works Site, off Knowle Lane, Rudgwick, near Horsham RH12 3AG, in the district of Waverley and in the county of Surrey. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relevant to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Cranleigh Brick and Tile Site Water Treatment Plant is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, IPPC Internal Public Register, Mrs D Reynolds, Swift House, Camberley, Surrey GU16 7SQ; and Waveley Borough Council, Mr B Titmas, Planning Department, The Burys, Goldalming, Surrey GU7 1HR. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so on payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC permit application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. The Environment Agency, Howard House, 40-64 St John’s Street, Bedford MK42 0DL. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
