PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 17 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

INTERGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that St. Modwen Developments Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a substantial change to the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate a landfill at Kingsweston Lane in the borough of Avonmouth in the city of Bristol. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a substantial change to the permit to operate the Kingsweston Lane landfill is held in registers at the following locations: Environment Agency Office, North Wessex Area Office, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater TA6 4YS; and Local Authority, Bristol City Council, St Georges Road, Bristol BS1 1ZG. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
