THE BEXLEY (DISABLED PERSON) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 62) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley on 31 October 2005, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No 40) Traffic Order 2005 would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2002 so that: Additional “At any time” waiting restrictions are introduced in parts of Lower Station Road, Royston Road, and Station Road, Crayford. 3. The general effect of the Bexley (20 mph Speed Limit) Traffic Order 2005 would be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in the following roads: Dale Road; Dale End; Heath Road; Heathlee Road; Heatherbank Close; Heathview Avenue; Hill Brow; Hillside Road; Lower Station Road; Mount Road; Ridge Avenue; Ridge Way; Royston Road; Station Road, (Chastilian Road to the bridge over the railway); Valley Close; Valley Road; West Heath Close; and West Heath Road, Crayford. 4. The general effect of The Bexley (Crayford) (Parking Places) (Amendment No 12) Traffic Order 2005 would be to further amend the Bexley (Crayford) (Parking Places) Traffic Order so that existing parking places in Lower Station Road, Heathview Avenue and Station Road, are amended. 5. The general effect of The Bexley (Disabled Persons) (Parking Places) (Amendment No 62) Traffic Order 2005 would be to resite the disabled persons parking place in Lower Station Road, Crayford, to the south side of the road. 6. Copies of the Orders, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2002 (and the Orders that have amended that Order); The Bexley (Crayford) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 1998 (and the Orders that have amended that Order); The Bexley (Disabled Persons) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 1989 (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and of a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected: (a) during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at The Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB; and (b) at the Crayford Library, Crayford Road, Crayford, Kent DA1 4ER during the opening times of the library. 7. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Bruce Woodhams on 020 8308 7812. 8. A copy of the Orders may be purchased from Traffic and Parking Design Group, 2nd Floor, Wyncham House, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup, Kent DA15 7JH. 9. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the day on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
