NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF REVISED PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A LOCAL PLAN
RUGBY BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN REVIEW: REDEPOSIT
Rugby Borough Council has revised proposals for the replacement of the above plan. The Rugby Borough Local Plan First Deposit Draft was made available under Regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Plan) (England) Regulations 1999 on 7 May 2004. This Plan has been revised and has now been published as the Redeposit Draft under Regulation 24 of the 1999 Regulations and Regulation 24A of the Town and Country Planning (Transitional Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2004. If, and when, this revised Plan is adopted it will form part of the development plan for the area of Rugby Borough Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the Plan are available for public inspection, free of charge, from 27 May 2005 at: Rugby Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby CV21 2RR, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am until 5.00 pm. The plan may also be viewed at the following locations: All public libraries around the Borough during their normal opening hours; On the Council’s Website: www.rugby.gov.uk At the public exhibitions, which are being held around the Borough. Details of these can be found on the Council’s Website, at the Town Hall Reception, in the Libraries or by contacting the Planning Policy Team on 01788 533533. Objections to, and representations in respect of the plan should be sent in writing, using the Response Form to: John Ware, Head of Planning Services, Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby CV21 2RR, before 5.00 pm on Friday 8 July 2005. Response forms are available with the printed version of the plan, at the Reception in The Town Hall, Libraries, on the Council’s Website, and at the public exhibitions being held around the Borough. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending at 5.00 pm on 8 July 2005, will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
