Take notice that Waldersey Farms Limited, of Northfield Farm, Lynn Road, Southery, Downham Market, Norfolk PE28 0HT, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Littleport and Downham Internal Drainage Board’s drains, dykes and ditches between National Grid Refs (A) TL 5592 3959 in the north, (B) TL 5592 7115 in the east, (C) TL 5592 1712 the south and (D) TL 5492 9147 in the west, in the parishes of Welney and Upwell in the district of West Norfolk in the county of Norfolk. The proposal is to abtract water at the following rates: 13 cubic metres per hour, 155 cubic metres per day, 3,797 cubic metres per year between 1 April and 30 September each year at any point or points on the above-mentioned drains. The water will be used for spray irrigation of arable crops. The above application is to replace an existing licence which expired on 30 September 2004. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Northfield Farm, Lynn Road, Southery, Downham Market, Norfolk, between 7 March 2005 and 7 April 2005.
