NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT AND MODIFY THE REPLACEMENT EREWASH BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN REVIEW

The local inquiry into the local plan review has been held and the report of the planning inspector has been considered by Erewash Borough Council. Erewash Borough Council proposes to make modifications to the plan. A list of the proposed modifications with the authority’s reason for proposing them, together with the Inspector’s Report, are available for inspection from 7 March 2005 to 18 April 2005 at the following deposit points: Town Hall, Ilkeston: Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm; Town Hall, Long Eaton: Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm; Ilkeston Library: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30 am to 7.00 pm, Wednesday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, Saturday 9.30 am to 4.00 pm; Long Eaton Mobile Library, West Park Leisure Centre Car Park: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, Saturday 10.00 am to 1.00 pm; Sandiacre Library: Monday and Thursday 9.30 am to 7.00 pm, Tuesday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, Saturday 9.30 am to 1.00 pm; Borrowash Library: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30 am to 7.00 pm, Saturday 9.30 am to 1.00 pm. The following documents are available for inspection at the deposit points: (1) Copies of the Statement of Decisions and Schedule of Proposed Modifications; (2) The Erewash Borough Local Plan Report on Objections; (3) The revised version of the Erewash Borough Council Local Plan Review Written Statement. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposed modifications should be sent in writing to Local Plans and Special Projects Team Leader, Erewash Borough Council, Freepost, Operational Services Division, Town Hall, Long Eaton, Derbyshire NG10 1BR, no later than 5.00 pm on Monday 18 April 2005. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections are received during the period given for making objections Erewash Borough Council intends to issue a further notice of the intention to adopt the plan on the expiry of that period.
