PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that P Waddington & Co Ltd has applied for a permit from the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to operate an installation involving the recycling of animal waste by rendering. The installation is located at The Refinery, Buck Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD3 9LP. The application contains a description of foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. A copy of the application is available for public inspection, free of charge, at the Environmental Protection Service, Town Hall, Kirkgate, Shipley BD18 3EJ, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Written representations about the application may be sent to the Scientific and Technical Services Team at the above Shipley address within 28 days of 22 February 2005. Any representations sent will be placed on a public register unless the representation contains a written request to the contrary. If there is such a request the register itself will include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of requests not to.
