NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that M J Goodley and Partners, of Middle Hoe, Brancaster Staith, Kings
Lynn PE31 8PJ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water
from underground strata (chalk), at National Grid Ref TF 9408 3010, at Heath Farm,
Fakenham, Norfolk.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 100.8 cubic metres per
hour, 1,616 cubic metres per day, 124,000 cubic metres per year, between 1 March and
1 September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it
may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Heath Farm, Fakenham,
Norfolk, between 21 February 2005 and 4 April 2005.
Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in
writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE28 4NE,
before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
