NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Frank Bird Poultry Ltd of Underlyne Langwathby, Penrith, Cumbria CA10 1NB is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 2777002023 which authorises the abstraction of water from a bore hole at National Grid Ref NY 3580 6980, at Close Gap Farm, Longtown, Cumbria CA6 5NA. The variation being applied for is to increase the daily volume from 37 cubic metres up to 60 cubic metres and the yearly volume from 10,000 cubic metres up to 13,800 cubic metres.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Underlyne, Langwathby, Penrith, Cumbria CA10 1NB, between 21 February 2005 and 23 March 2005.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Ghyll Mount, Gillan Way, Penrith 40 Business Park, Penrith, Cumbria CA11 9BP, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
