STOPPING-UP OF PART OF HIGHWAY AT SITE 6, WHITEHILLS PARK IN THE COUNTY OF LANCASHIRE

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that on the application of Inghams he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-Up of Highways (County of Lancashire) (No 1) Order 2005”, authorising the stopping-up of part of highway at site 6, Whitehills Park, Blackpool, in the county of Lancashire.
The stopping-up Order is permanent and has been authorised to enable the development described in the planning permission granted to John Thompson Design Centre Ltd by Fylde Borough Council on 13 August 2004 under Ref 04/0624.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the North West (Planning and Transport Team), City Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE (quoting Ref GO/TNW 5063/35/1/102). It may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Fylde Borough Council, Council Offices, Dereby Street, Wesham, Preston PR4 3AJ.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act, or any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 18 February 2005, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
